Google Maps

This has to be the best thing! My brother is living in San Francisco, and he introduced me to Google Maps to ’see’ his street and house and surrounds. It was fab, and I did the usual checking out my home, friends places, etc.

What I hadn’t used GM for was route-finding. It’s great! Am planning a couple of weekend trips, and GM not only shows a possible route, but gives distance and time. I just checked it for travelling from my home to Deakin Waterfront — and it’s suggested route is nothing like the one I take — will check it out soon, as hurtling along on the Western ring road is sometimes a challenge, first up in the day.

Will be heading to GM far more often now!
